What are you planning for in your future?
Do you have a plan for growth? What does it look like? If you aren’t growing, you are dying. At all stages of life, you should be looking for ways to improve yourself. Mind, body, soul, and spirit, you should be trying to find ways to get better.
Do you have anyone who is helping you do that? Do you have any accountability? How are you tracking results? How do you know if you are making progress?
Everyone should have a plan for your Lifestyle. You should have goals for your future and a measure of success. You should have a team that helps you determine where you are relative to these measures.
I believe that your Lifestyle is important and you should track all things important to you. You should know whether you are on track with your growth, and goals, or not. You should take corrective action if you are not heading in the right direction.
If you are planning financially, you need to know how much money it is going to take to help you achieve your goals. Are you looking at Retirement? How much is that going to cost you? Planning for college? What are the expenses you are looking at? Leaving a monetary Legacy? How will you achieve that? These are just a few examples.
If you want to grow personally or spiritually, what steps are you taking? What books are you reading? Do you know what God’s word says about you? Who do you have around you to challenge you to take next steps? What results are you seeing from your current plan?
Are you trying to lose weight or gain strength? How are you doing with the plan? Who is cheering you on or calling you out?
We all need someone, or a team of people, to guide us through life’s ups and downs. It is hard to see results in many areas of growth and sometimes we need someone else to push us forward when we can’t keep going on our own. Who do you have on your team? Do you have one?
With anything, your source of strength should be kept in proper perspective and no one should try to accomplish everything on their own.
Philippians 4:13 says: “ I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Keep the proper perspective and make sure you have Godly council that surrounds you and the results should be easier to see as you move forward.
Best of luck in all of your planning and let us know how we can help!
